Status Update
So, I started this newsletter with a track record of being utterly hopeless at blogging. Surprisingly, I kept up the motivation to keep writing and publishing articles.
Part of the inspiration for writing a Newsletter in the first place came from #buildinpublic folks on Twitter. However, I’m very much aware I’ve leaned into writing more long-form essays without giving any updates on how my venture is going!
That said, I plan to post a ‘journey log’ now and again. Not sure exactly what this will look like, but here is a start:
Work
I’ve been doing a lot of Shopify work, both in terms of ongoing client project work and building a product on the platform.
I’m meeting with a prospective client next week to discuss a new website! Somehow I’ve managed to find someone who is still using Drupal 7.
As a favour, I’m doing some ongoing innovation and digital transformation consultancy for a small company. This is driving some of my own process development and consultancy techniques.
This newsletter! Each article takes a considerable amount of time to write, but from a personal perspective, I’m finding value in thinking and writing these articles. Thank you, my beautiful subscribers. 😍
I’m working on a brand-new identity and web design for patch.digital. Unfortunately, this is at the bottom of my to-do list.
Oh, and I filed my Company Accounts for the last financial year.
